Many people believe that Tarot cards are more than just ink on paper, that they allow us to access our subconscious mind through occult symbology. A deck contains 78 cards, each with a theme from everyday life experience. I am not a fortune teller, but an artist fascinated with this ancient archetypal art form which has survived since the mid-15 th century. This year I join my creative predecessors and reinvent yet another deck of Tarot cards.
16 of the 78 drawings are shown. All images are of pen and ink drawings on illustration board, dimensions 5”x7”, completed
between 2018 and 2019. The original images are not for sale but the decks and individual prints are available.
