Visit the Contemporary Art Center Resident Artist Studios where artists create, display, and sell their work. Enjoy the unique & creative talents of local artists. While here, enjoy art exhibits in 3 galleries. The public is invited to this open house style events.

6:30-7:30 – Artist Talks by Tyler Hennings, Cathy Engberg and Jeff Bess who are exhibiting in Contemporary Still Life: artists continue the tradition of still life.

8:00-9:00pm – Someone Named Sam
Someone Named Sam is a mime named Sam Falls who has been using songwriting as an expressive outlet for over a decade. Playing keyboard and singing original songs, Sam enjoys injecting absurdist humor and somewhat political satire into their lyrics.

Studio Tour: Visit the Resident Artist Studios where local artists create, display & sell their work. Tanya Bayer, William Butler, Elizabeth Davis, Bennett Johnson, Darlene Jones, Richard Kirchgessner, Joe Kotas, Kagan Masters, Ilva McBrayer, Joy Johannes Miller and Adrianne Risby. In the Side View Gallery on the 2nd floor, see the work of Preston Jackson and Natalie Jackson.
