Jessica McGhee: You Can Rest Here

Jessica proves that trash is full of potential by creating colorful jewelry and sculpture using discarded items found during community clean-ups. This installation, inspired by sea life endangered by plastic pollution, is a continuation of that process. With Jessica’s cancer diagnosis in 2021, the work has expanded to also chronicle her experience with cancer – from diagnosis, through treatment and to recovery.
