Sarah & The Underground is a Soul/Folk trio based out of Peoria, Illinois known for unique, original compositions and soulful arrangements of well-loved hits and standards. The sound that’s attracted thousands of listeners all over the Midwest is best described as a big sip of warm, dark whiskey for the ears. Sarah Marie Dillard’s creative lyrics and sweet vocals are masterfully set against the melodic lines that resonate from the rich tone of Brandon Mooberry’s upright bass. Both musicians are well complimented by drummer/percussionist Nick Fairley’s tasteful rhythms. Sarah & The Underground combine their talents to bring independent music a brand new sound.
