In 2011 I retired after working over 35 years as a union cabinetmaker, I am now following my passion of building handcrafted art and traditional furniture. My training and work experience is extensive and includes apprenticeships at The Amana Colonies in Amana, Iowa where I built furniture by hand, The furniture was sold locally at The Amana Colonies Furniture Shop and we were also able to ship all over the United States as well as Europe and Asia. I also spent 10 years woodworking at Jumer’s Castle Lodge. My clients value my unique style and craftsmanship that I put into my furniture and bowls.
Most people aren’t always fortunate enough to make a living at what they love and have a passion for. I was able to do something very close. Now I spend my days creating and building one-of-a-kind furniture and bowls, and loving every minute of it.
