Rick Noble was born in Havana, Illinois, January 4, 1958 and has been
creating art for the better part of his life. At the age of seven he had
completed his first watercolor and oil paintings, which landed an article in the local newspaper along with photos of the work. He has served as the President of the Mason County Arts Council for many years and is involved in other community groups and artistic programs through Central Illinois.

He has studied and worked with several artists privately and in community college art classes, workshops, and symposiums. He was born and raised along the Illinois River and has always felt a strong connection to it. As a child his family taught him to see and appreciate the natural world and nature around him. His work is for sale in several galleries throughout the Midwest, where he exhibits pieces in local shows and venues. His work has won acclaim & ribbons in regional art exhibitions and is collected by devoted private collectors. Rick Noble still works and lives near his hometown of Havana, Illinois.
